Common Questions
We supply natural and engineered solid wood doors. We offer a high end tier for fully custom sizes and designs and a budget tier that includes engineered wood doors skinned with MDF which are built only to standard sizes with more restrictions on designs and configurations. We also supply acoustic accordion partitions for environments where noise control is crucial. The majority of the doors we supply come with a 4-5 week production lead time as well as a 1 week shipping lead time. There are minor exceptions to this, and we would communicate any difference in lead time prior to contract approval.
We do not need to demo existing walls or frame in new walls in order to fit any of the doors we design and install. There are very rare exceptions to this (i.e. wanting to open up a narrow opening to fit a large door system). Our two-tiered project approach allows us to either supply doors made to order and built for the opening size and shape, or adapt the opening itself to fit standard size doors through a variety of design and installation methods none of which would require reframing the opening. If the type of door you’re looking for happens to require any demo or new wall construction, we would inform you on the design call so you know exactly what to expect.
Most door partitions take a day to install with some requiring a follow up day to fully complete.
In most cases, we are able to schedule installation within one week of the door arriving to our warehouse. There are few exceptions to this.
Once a quote is approve, and the contract is signed, we collect a 50% deposit to order the doors and materials and tentatively schedule installation based on manufacturer ETA’s (which are subject to change). Once the doors are fully installed, and our customer is fully satisfied, we collect the remaining final balance. We accept check, Zelle, ACH, or credit/debit card.
