Interior Metal Doors
No Demo. No Construction. Just Sleek Interior Metal Doors Built for Your Space.
Custom Interior Metal Doors for Any Type of Opening
CLEAN LINES. MAXIMUM GLASS. ZERO CONSTRUCTION.
At Slides Rite, we install custom interior metal door systems into openings that were never designed to fit a standard door. Home offices, bonus rooms, lounges, libraries, or any large open flex room entryway — if the space is open and you want it closed without giving up light or visual connection, a metal door system is one of the most striking ways to do it.
Metal door systems lead with the glass. The slim powder-coated frames take up minimal visual space, which means more glass, more light transfer, and a cleaner look between rooms. Whether you need a single panel, a center-meet system, or a multi-panel configuration for a wider opening, we have the products and the installation experience to make it work for your specific opening.
The slim metal frame profile minimizes visual weight and maximizes the glass area, creating a transparent, architectural look that lets both rooms breathe while still giving you a door you can close.
We supply metal door systems custom configured to your specific opening size and layout. Every project starts with a free design consultation where we measure the opening, walk through your configuration options, and design a system that fits without structural changes to your home.
We supply premium doors custom built to your opening or standard economical doors that we fit through a variety of field methods. Both options are clean and elegant.

Every Project Requires Custom Pricing. Here's Why.
Every opening we work with is different — the width, the height, and sometimes even the shape. Every customer has a different design specification. With multiple wood species available, countless glass designs, and a wide variety of door configurations, we simply can’t offer a quick quote. There’s no shelf price because there’s no shelf product. Every door we install is designed and built specifically for your space. That’s why a door from a big box store won’t fit your opening without a construction project, and why the doors in the portfolio above look like they were always supposed to be there.
If you want to understand what your project costs, request an estimate and we’ll walk through everything with you so you have a full picture before making any decisions.
Once you have your number, financing is available for customers who would rather preserve their cash or take advantage of our no-interest option. Qualified applicants receive funding directly, with up to 21 months at no interest and approval in as little as one day.
Common Questions
Pricing varies by configuration, opening size, and the specific product line selected. Metal and wood door systems are generally comparable in price at similar configurations. The best way to get an accurate number for your specific opening is to go through the design consultation where we can present options across both material categories with honest pricing for each.
Metal door systems are powder coated at the factory, which means the finish is applied during production rather than on site. The standard color options are typically black, white, and a small number of metallic finishes depending on the manufacturer. If your interior works within those colors, the factory finish is a genuine convenience — the door is ready from day one with no painting required.
Metal door systems provide meaningful sound separation compared to an open entryway, which is the starting point for most flex room projects. Wood door systems do offer greater acoustic resistance due to the density of solid wood construction, so if acoustic control is the primary reason you need a door, that’s worth discussing during the consultation so we can match the right system to your specific need.
Metal frames are structurally strong and the powder coat finish is highly resistant to scratching, chipping, and wear over time. For interior applications in a climate-controlled home, both metal and wood door systems perform reliably over the long term when installed correctly.
Metal door systems fit most naturally in contemporary, modern, or industrial interiors where the slim frame and glass-forward aesthetic complements the existing design language. For homes with traditional or transitional millwork, a wood door system is typically the better fit — but the right answer always depends on the specific space, which is why we look at the full picture during the consultation before making a recommendation.
The majority of the doors we supply come with a 4-5 week production lead time as well as a 1 week shipping lead time. There are minor exceptions to this, and we would communicate any difference in lead time prior to contract approval.
For most configurations, no. Single panel sliders, bypass doors, and center-meet doors all mount to the wall surface or to a header above the opening — no wall cavity required. Pocket doors are the exception since the panel slides into the wall, which does involve more work. We’ll tell you upfront what each option requires before you make any decisions.
Most door partitions take a day to install with some requiring a follow up day to fully complete.
In most cases, we are able to schedule installation within one week of the door arriving to our warehouse. There are few exceptions to this.
Once a quote is approve, and the contract is signed, we collect a 50% deposit to order the doors and materials and tentatively schedule installation based on manufacturer ETA’s (which are subject to change). Once the doors are fully installed, and our customer is fully satisfied, we collect the remaining final balance. We accept check, Zelle, ACH, or credit/debit card.
